**Our nurse appointments show what you are able to book into the appointments for, please do not book in for anything other than this.
You can only book appointments for yourself via your personal log in, you cannot use your log in to book an appointment for another family member but ask us about this.
We aim to offer bookable appointments at least 6 weeks in advance. We now operate a system of 'Care Navigation' - our receptionists will ask for brief details of your condition when you contact the surgery to book an appointment, they will then offer you a GP, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse appointment or direct you to a more suitable care provider such as an optician or pharamacist. By using this system, we are trying to give the best possible patient care by ensuring that you see the most appropriate person.
**If we cannot see you at the practice and if it is deemed approriate, you may be offered an appointment at one of six GP access centres across Sheffield 6pm-10pm weekdays and 10am-6pm weekends. some hub opening hours may vary
If you have a number of issues to discuss with the doctor then it may not be possible to address all of these in 10 minutes. It is possible to book a longer appointment, just ask the receptionist to book you a double appointment. For gynaecological examinations please request a 20 minute appointment.
We are a Group Practice and you may see any of the doctors, however, we would encourage you to try and see the same doctor for a long term problem as this helps us to offer you good continuous care. If you see the GP and they ask you to come back for a follow up after a certain period of days/weeks please visit the reception desk on your way out to book this. Please be aware that if you wish to book ahead to see a particular GP for a non-urgent problem you may have to wait a few days as none of our GPs work at the practice every day.
If you are unable to make your appointment or no longer need it, please cancel it immediately as we can then offer the slot to another patient. This is extremely important as appointments are in great demand. You are able to leave us a message to cancel on our answer machine when we are closed, at lunchtime or over night. If you are registered for on line services you can cancel through SystmOne on line or the NHS app.
Please ensure we have an up to date telephone number (including mobile numbers) at the time of booking in case we need to contact you about your appointment.
**Access without steps patients who are unable to use the stairs can be seen in a downstairs consulting room, please request this when making an appointment. The surgery reception area and downstairs waiting room have easy access without steps. The surgery has a toilet for wheelchair users off the main waiting area.
